Athens Music Week (AMW) is a Βοutique conference & showcase festival which takes place each June in Athens, Greece. It is an alternative destination, where music fans and industry experts from Eastern Med countries meet to interact, share diversified music experiences, and exchange knowledge regarding contemporary multi-cultural market directions.
Athens Music Week was founded in 2018, with the vision to offer a one-of-a-kind cultural and musical experience for music fans and industry insiders alike.

Combining a Showcase Festival philosophy with the “problem-solving” orientation of a Music Conference, Athens Music Week encompasses arts, heritage, innovation, technology, and urban/folk culture, along with various entertainment-driven topics. All, perfectly balanced within a hybrid environment which accelerates entrepreneurship, collaboration, and meaningful social interactions.
A brand new outdoor workout space has been created in the premises of Technopolis waiting for you to discover it! Invest your free time in the most creative way, enjoy the health benefits of physical activity, and familiarize yourselves with exercise in outdoor areas. Gym Park’s fitness equipment is suitable for everyone and designed to exercise all muscle groups of the body at all times while providing safety and security. The time has come for a unique experience in outdoor sport activities.
Get up to the top of the tallest building of Technopolis, the New Watergas, and view the city from a new fascinating angle. Enjoy a 360˚ view of the entire city, from Acropolis and Lycabettus to the western suburbs, i.e. Egaleo, Faliro and Kastela. There are also binoculars available to satisfy one’s curiosity
The first certified action park of the country has been created in the premises of Technopolis and is a supermodern recreation and interaction area for children of all ages. Suspension bridges and paths, observatories and a huge slide-tunnel comprise an impressive construction which promises young and old alike a unique experience...up in the air!
Update on the Operation of Technopolis’ Recreational Areas During Events
Technopolis City of Athens is a vibrant cultural and recreational space, open and accessible to the public throughout the year. Our goal is to keep its facilities available to visitors for as long as possible, offering an enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. We actively advocate for the public’s need for more open spaces that are accessible to everyone, and we constantly support this effort.
However, as a venue that hosts major cultural events, particularly during the summer, Technopolis implements, where necessary, special operating and access regulations. Our main priority is the safety of visitors -and especially children-, as well as the smooth running of events, in accordance with the operating conditions and the specific needs of each event. We always strive to provide the widest possible access to our facilities without, however, compromising on safety.
We also note that the Technopolis playground operates on the premises for the recreation of our young visitors. It is necessarily subject to the operating hours and conditions dictated by the multifaceted nature of Technopolis and the events it hosts.
In this context, from June through October 2026, during major events -and particularly concerts- the playground and other recreational areas (Café, SkyWalk) will remain open until 5:30 p.m.

In the Old Watergas, a unique building belonging to the aesthetic of the 20th century industrial architecture, is housed a modern all-day café that invites you to enjoy a coffee or a drink as well as to indulge in a light snack or a lavish meal in an establishment with a special atmosphere. Technopolis Café’s refreshed menu is inspired by the Mediterranean cuisine and Greek tradition and proposes modern, creative dishes which may be accompanied by a Greek wine from our updated list. Technopolis Café also hosts kids' parties, business meals, and corporate events.
